Katherine Tomney is a professional dancer, singer, teacher, and choreographer currently residing in the New York City area. Katherine is a graduate of the State University of New York: University at Buffalo where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelors of Art in Dance Performance as well as a Minor in Art History. It is through her collegiate journey that she received extensive training in dance forms such as Jazz, Musical Theater, Tap, Ballet, Modern, Contemporary and Hip Hop genres.

Since graduation, Katherine has managed to keep herself busy by teaching a wide array of dance classes across the Greater Washington DC area and it was through this experience that she discovered her passion and proficiency in teaching dance to young children. When performing opportunities reopened towards the end of the pandemic, Katherine got busy securing herself multiple performance based contracts all across the country. To date, her favorite contract has been performing as a MainStage Dancer and Tap Soloist onboard Disney Cruise Lines in 2024 where she got to sail all around the Caribbean performing for hundreds of passengers each week. Back in the New York City area, Katherine is excited to hit the ground running with plenty of new opportunities and experiences in the near future!

Past credits include: Disney Cruise Lines, Arts Center of Coastal Carolina, Carnival Cruise Lines, and Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre.

Current Project: Katherine is currently hitting the audition grind in NYC!
